for an assignment at the kubert school. we had to include an establishing shot, a long shot, a medium long shot, a medium shot, a close up, and en extreme close up....we didn't HAVE to actually draw a narrative page, but....why wouldn't i?
anyways, i didn't get as much time to get these pencils as tight as i'd like (that 4th panel down shot REALLY suffered)...SO, i'm going to redraw the tights for the NY con coming up..

mmmm....leading up to NY i'm totally going to be redoing panel 4 completely. maybe panel 6, too - the more i look at that one the less i like it. i may need a sweet paste up lesson.....we never actually did that at all last year.

Looks pretty good. A few suggestions:
-Spittle coming out of that jokers mouth
-Foreshortening on robin in the big panel is off, go to andy with some tracing paper on monday and ask him to show you a fix for it.
-Be careful with the sharp angles on faces, smoother lines will make your faces look softer and more realish
-keep bringing!

Oh, that is awesome. That would totally work for a story, if it weren't for the fact that the Catholic League would probably be on DC's ass like white on rice on a paper plate in the middle of a snowstorm.

lol i was thinking more along the lines joker steals the clothes of a lowly bishop...MAYBE an archbishop
THEN he goes, kidnaps robin, takes him to a broken down cathedral, and decides to baptize the boy wonder....IN ACID!!!
yeah, if this script were real there'd likely be a lot of negativity towards it. i'm not trying to say anything here...just trying to make the joker look crazy.

Ah, I see. His hat looks like the official pope hat, and the first panel just had the church, which made me think he was in the Vatican.

those top three panels show huge improvement. Not to mention, they're totally sweet. The page has as a whole works really well. The type of shot that you're doing in the middle is really hard, but you'll get it eventually. The secret is to have breakfast with Adam, then you will be unstoppable.

Been doing good. Had a job at Mada, working as a freelance artist. Was doing that for about four months then recently was let go. Which is fine because now I can say I worked professionally. so the hard part now is to look for another job. How second year going?
