what a very lovely capture it certainly looks very cold is the bird's foot buried in the snow?I somehow wonder how they live in all these weather conditions.I am told that they do not have a long life span because of it

Thank you, yes I think so! By putting out food, I help them through the winter, but some struggle to survive because of the very cold nights. I hope that I managed to save some last winter, as it was particularly cold...
