This is the digitalized version of something I did in September. Finally got around to doing this!

I'd like to say right off the bat, nice job. Β The characters look great. We can tell a few things just by looking at them. One, they are a team. Two, they like each other, and three Β a pocket appears to be a safe place to keep a ferret. 
The "one" thing that is bugging me looking at your drawing is Kim's lower half. Are we looking at her backside or front? I'm guessing back. Β A simple thing that would help would be to draw a line perpendicular to the line coming up from her left leg. Also her feet seem to be at an extreme angle. Try standing in her position. I know cartoons can be exaggerated, I appreciate that, but I think here the drawing of her lower half would look stronger had her feet been pointing opposite his.
Overall though a great drawing. Keep learning you're doing great. Β Have a terrific day.

Kim and Ron are a great team, I'm glad you could see that in my drawing. Haha, he's a naked mole rat though, not a ferret.
You're right, it is Kim's back, but I can see where it would be hard to tell. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Good ideas with adding a perpendicular line and changing the angles of the feet.

Not sure if this helps. But, if you ever read a shoen jump manga book. You could try to submit a short comic or, something. Maybe someone will reconizable you that way for anime.
Not sure about, direct companies. Sometime sending fan art to companies may help you. So don't take it to sure.
If a company holds a contest that's a good way to get noticed.
I may not be good as you in art. But, I can say you would make a really good anime ^__^
