I love all their speech bubbles, expressions, stances, and moods are on this bizarre sliding scale, reflecting in the stretching shadow of the background. From Gai's flaming hand and caps-lock speech, to Kakashi just slightly bending out of the way looking sedate, to Iruka, utterly crushed by recent events.

Don't worry, by the looks of it, it seems as though Gai was just INCHES away from bitch-slapping Kakashi-san into the next century with his youthful valentines card...and that Kakashi-san seems to think it has some kind of unknown and un-youthful STD inside.
...Imagine the day when the NARUTO cast discover steroids.
Now Imagine Gai and Lee with steroids.
Now give your juiced up Gai and Lee a damsel in distress (Or Kakashi-san in distress, whatever floats your boat.), complete with fire breathing dragon (or Kyuubi) and gi-normous castle.
