B8TA is a girl btw too. Her actually name is pronounced how it is spelled (Bee-eight-tee-ay) but everyone just calls her Beta as a nickname (pronounced bait-ah)

After crash landing he became stranded on Earth with no means of communication, as his robot companion B8TA who accompanied him on the ship, sustained damage to her communications system in the crash. He now lives in an apartment complex with the people who found him and is eager to get B8TA properly fixed so he can call home. Aliens are a known but not so common sight in this AU of Earth.
