I'm finally back on track! Sorry for the delay, people.

In the picture, I utilized such effects as dimming the opacity on the water layer, distorting the Pokemon inside the water a bit, erasing the water a bit so you can see the Pokemon inside, and blurs to indicate motion. I'm really glad how well it all turned out!

I know there are supposed to be at least 6 other Pokemon in the Hot Springs at the time. Let's just say that they were already launched out...or ran out of the way in time.

The super-famous Hot Spring becomes one of Amy and Chikorita's all-time favorite places to play in. When I came across this setting in the context of their story, it occured to me that this could be one of those many endearing moments you see in Hayao Miyazaki's films (especially My Neighbor Totoro). I remember how I could play mindlessly for hours and hours without accomplishing anything back when I was their age. It's a fun feeling to evoke, but I sure wouldn't want to spend time doing nothing anymore--I've got a manga career to prepare for!
