This is my "pocket husky" Rockie Mountains' Aspen (big name for such a mini pup) aka Aspen. I just love this simple photo. I don't know why, but I do. Why pocket husky? Well she is about half the size of a standard husky give or take a few inches. She is almost pure white in the winter with a touch of yellowish off white here and there, yet in the summer she has an almost timber wolf look/markings down her back. At the dog park people always think that she is a wolf running around. It is just a hoot to hear a little kid scream and go tearing off towards thier parent yelling "theres a wolf mommy/daddy".Here she is engaged in her fav activity...BELLY RUBS!

sounds like my siberian husky haha, " mommy, look she has a wolf!" or i get people asking me if im walking a coyote or wolf.

ha ha! wat an expression! the only way to put our dog to sleep or calm her down is too give her a belly rub

I wish I could say the same for my retriever and my beagle. All they do is fight. Lol. Never any time for bellyrubs.
