in can fly, just not on it's own. there is a video of the test flight somewhere. The glider itself was pretty stable but it still had to be pulled for it to fly because either the engine would be to expensive or we don't have the technology to make one that could be sold world wide at a reasonable price.sorry to ruin it for you.

As do i. It's to bad we live in a world full of people only after money and not to better the world as it is. And those who do have the smarts to make something like that can't because they either don't have the resorces and money, or some corporate jerk wants to milk as much money put of it as possible witch would make it very expensive.

Re-create the movie in live action?... No, this is from a Japanese project back in the 90's to try and create a working Mehve... but it didn't really take off.
