Description the shadowed ocean draws itself toward me
the Sun’s scarlet rays glistening on the black tide
a beauty unlike any other
reminiscent of your face
I pray for your heart under the soft light of a solar eclipse
the blackest orb in the gentle embrace of a ring of white fire
a feeling like no other
a feeling like your touch
the sound of my heart pounding harder, faster
my breathing so deep, so loud this time
a sound I’ve never heard
until I heard your voice
the thought of all these wondrous moments
I wish that you were here to share them
a thought that leaves me all alone
the things I think of you
