Another entry into the Random Character file. This time the name generator provided by the talented and creative came up with, Mister Mask!At first I was going to make him a superhero, but the more I drew him the more I realized that he is a criminal mastermind who is seen through the public eye as a bit of a celebrity. Mister Mask loves the attention he receives and uses it to his advantage. Mister Mask does not brood behind closed doors with an elaborate plan to destroy the city. On the contrary, Mister Mask hosts dinner parties with the rich and famous while his criminal organization is out doing what they do best! Mister mask also has the annoying habit of talking in the third person
This guy was a blast, I may promote him from Random Character status to more of a starting rotation type of villain.
Expect to see more of Mister Mask!

I like the idea of a rich philanthropist with a mask- not only does it enhance his mystery (Nobody from his past can recognize him), but he could be a "rotational" villain. Suppose he dies- you can easily keep him alive by saying "Oh, this wasn't Mr. Mask- this was his butler!" in a Doombot Fashion.
Also, the gloves- because he's too smart to leave fingerprints.

I think Mr. Mask is way too self involved to let others impersonate him. He's a fun character that I need to revisit

I use photoshop's tools to color. I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet, it's small but cheap and gets the job done.

It's mostly the style of the mask. I like the refined look that the suit gives him though. Good color scheme too. The grey hair adds a bit of class as well. It seems like he's been perfecting his craft over the years and obviously doing a good job of it if he's survived this long into the game. Sorry I didn't add more at the time, I was planning on coming back to it.

The best part about this character is that he is an unexpected surprise. I never thought a character named, Mister Mask would take on the personality that I ended up drawing here. Definitely going to use him again, and as stated, Kitsune needs a nemesis!

That's a great idea - these two would work really well together visually. You have to draw some comics with these two! (After Secret Wars, obviously! Sorry - couldn't resist!)

LOL the only reason I had is I had someone at my old comic shop commission me to do a photomanip of him Domino Lady and Lash Lightning. You really want a hoot look up Lash Green yellow and red costume with brown boots.

created a Microsoft Excel program that generates random names. It's brilliant, and I know he was emailing it to people a while ago. I am sure if you send him a note or an email asking nicely, he would hook you up!

You could download the Open office suite. The "Calc" program is a freeware Excel clone.
