Ok, i think i need to explain this one
I scribbled this on a tiny piece of paper, trying out some new coloured pencils.I was about to bin it, but my son dared me to upload it,... so, here it is ( small view is definately best ) Any hate mail should be directed to him ,Mwahahaha

There's nothing wrong with your drawing. I use colored pencils in my drawings.
It just takes practice.
Here's a few hints:
1. Start adding the light colors first, then move on to the darkest. Blend together where two colors meet.
2. To achieve the colors you want, you have to layer the colors on top of each other. Sometimes added different colors on top of each other.
Ex. lay down a layer of gray and add another color on top like red to get the color you desire.
3. Use your white color pencil to blend your colors together. Sound dumb, but it works.
4. Practice blending your colors on scrap paper first. It's something you will have to experiment with first before you get it right.
5. Don't give up!
6. You can erase color penicls with one of those pink eraser if you need to.

I haven't been using colored pencils for long only for about 6 months, but I have learned alot since then. I have grown to love using them. I have about 200 colored pencil of all types.
