4/5 for the countdown until the Lonesome Road DLC ! COMES OUT TOMORROW @_____@----although I won't probably get to play it since I've got a lot of work to do T___T. Oh well, there's the weekend. I'll just have to avoid the Internets for spoilers T_T

(I probably would have had the time to play it if I didn't do these countdown pieces, ironic, no XD? But I really wanted to do it @___@)

I felt that Ulysses as a boy would try to be the typical American kid hero, who tries to be everyone’s friend and such, although I feel like that they would truly connect over their love of reading. Samuel Hawkins would initially buy into that old world dream until the ambiguously mysterious and horrible event that occurs when he’s ten that will inevitably set them on their different paths...with Samuel Hawkins disillusioned about the old world dream as well as his dismissal that he has the ability to change the world he lives in, while Ulysses’s beliefs were only affirmed, or pushed to obsession. It wasn’t really until Hawkins met Arcade whom he found an intelligent companion once again, and someone who had a vision about how the world should be that he could believe in, that he regained his confidence and dreams. Probably. Anywho, that's how it goes in my head!canon.

I might eventually color this like the other one, but I actually like how it came out...added the film grain for the whole "this happened in the past" effect XP
