Description John Paul Jones' dreamsquadron at sea

Jones himself leads the squadron with the USS Patriot, he is seen looking back at Ross who follows close behind on the Wolfe. Third is the Phillipedes commanded by Lt Pin, and fourth is HMS Venerator the flag ship commanded by Commodore Vyse. Right of him is Post-Captain Preston's Royal George. Leopreston In reply to Promus-Kaa [2007-04-16 11:16:58 +0000 UTC]

Lol! And yet, in the English dictionary it's 'realize'. Strange huh? I like to call it the 'slang s'.

Awesome detail here... I've always been fascinated by large ship such as these but was always too overwhelmed by the details to attempt drawing them.

You did an incredible job here.

GeneralVyse In reply to Lupinator [2007-04-07 18:31:55 +0000 UTC]

hahah well give it a try! you do have to remember everything as you go along though - especially sails and rigging - its best to start with them!

Lupinator In reply to GeneralVyse [2007-04-08 14:04:24 +0000 UTC]

Man, I'm sure I'll give it a whirl some time, but it's tough stuff... I've always love those scenes...

GeneralVyse In reply to Lupinator [2007-04-09 19:31:19 +0000 UTC]

yeah do try it though! its really satisfying - but so mind numbing - the waves alone are enough to send you mad!

Lupinator In reply to GeneralVyse [2007-04-10 00:51:11 +0000 UTC]

Man... I know all the pains and joys of high end detailed images... Usually the joy is felt after the image is done, and the pain keeps you from ever wanting to do it again... It's rather traumatic sometimes... *sobs*

*laughs* I just thought being a captain (oh heck, I'd even settle for deckhand) in the Dream Squadron would be a great fantasy to indulge in.

I ought to join the Military Academy though.

yeah! do it! i reckon you'd fit in perfectly with the dream squadron - the serious one AND the comedy one (pratts of the carribbean) especially if you do them 'deadpool' stylee

join the military academy if you like - not much goes on there im afraid :S
