Buddy, what's your recommendation on your shot. I'm going back to NY next month and im definitely going to try to go to top of the rocks. When I was in Empire, they didn't let my Tripod up. what did you use to stabilize your shot? Thanks.

Hah, i had the same problem. I was told to stop using it by one guy and used it anyway. Then i was caught by another man who said "keep using it and if anyone asks tell them that john said it was alright". LOL i guess i got lucky! Im so jealous ure going to new york. I love that place!

Im gonna say John said it was ok. My tripod is too hard to carry around, mainly because of size...... I wish I had a light and small one. Anyways, I'll let you know what comes out of it. Im actually there not fun, but maybe I can squeeze it in. You upload so MUCH!!!!!!!!! Where does the time come from?!

I only have a waist high one that fits in my back pack. it was only cheep. it was fairly cheep (maybe Β£25 from jessops).
And my girlfriend has gone on holiday for a week and i have the week off work. Far to much free time lol

I think I better get one too. I remember me trying to take pictures in NY with small tripods. Crowds looked at me weird.
