Description

Hello friends!
Today I wanted to propose a small challenge for your Kimetsu no Yaiba Ocs, the challenge is simple, it consists of making your hunter a demon (or if your character is a demon as he would be if he were a hunter)
Just make your design and tell us a little about it
Who converted it?
In what circumstance?
What is your skill or power?
Is good or bad?
Tag it with #DSOcdemonchallenge and share our characters

After the invitation I will tell you a little about the general features of my character
Name: Nagisa Omori
She was Converted by Douma, By fighting against him and not being able to defeat him, he gave himself on the condition that he did not harm his parents
His blood demon ability is to create flowers that he uses as blades, at the same time he can turn into flowers and disappear, making taking cuts something he can easily avoid.
When using flowers, flower breathing characters are weaker before her. The Wisteria still displeases him.
She is bad, having conscience but no memories she follows her instinct to kill and eat, she is faithful to Douma (as if he were her master) and will do whatever it takes to keep him happy, she has an unrequited obsessive love relationship with him, although Douma does value Nagisa for her lethality and obedience.

Hola amigos!

Nice composition of the  Original Character, it looks just as if it has been taken as a screenshot from one of the episodes. I like the way in which you have done the coloring and patterning in pink in the maximum areas. The story is also quite convincing as Douma is known to have converted a couple of people into demons, although it was unknown about the actual number of people he has converted in the Manga, so this might be another discovery. Her drool looks kinda out of the place and doesn't go with the night theme of the picture. Was it meant to be of shiny nature just because she is a demon? I don't know, just a  guess. Even if it was her saliva which was glistening, it is kinda odd. I would love any character reference which has been made on her. Also, her feet kinda looks odd on a closer observation without the toes.  The Shading seems kinda inaccurate as it seems kinda confusing from which side the light has been coming. Otherwise, the whole composition gives a nice feel overall.

Whenever I come across the Kimetsu No Yaiba Original Characters on DA, I feel so good as each and every single one of them has such a unique story composition and character composition. I think this anime is the only anime that has inspired so many OCs (just kidding, but knows I may true  Even there are so many similar anime(s), there are a whole lot fan ideas of crossover works. I would also like to see her as a Demon slayer.
By the way, this  #DSOcdemonchallenge looks interesting too. I will try out too with a character that I have in mind for a crossover idea. It would be great if you could link me to the details and other descriptions with this challenge.  Keep creating these!

Hi, I'm here from ProjectComment

At first glance all the attention is drawn to the figure and then it is hard to focus on anything specific in the figure. The figure is pretty chaotic.

You have a couple of main colors. Yellow and a magenta. These colours are almost opposite on the colour wheel so they are perfect for contrast. Since yellow is the more intense colour, it is more attention grabbing and the focus is drawn to the bow and the yellow on the kimono(I think it is a kimono).

I'm assuming the red splatter is meant to be blood. It feels like the splatter was simply put as a pattern on the kimono and skin. What you need to consider with the blood is if it is still wet? or dry? If its wet it needs some reflections. White highlight make pretty much anything look wet. Or if it is still wet you can show drips and give it some dimension. If the blood is meant to be dry you can outline it so that you can see that it is over top of the skin. To get the best results though I would suggest looking up reference photos of wet and dry blood and how it would look on skin versus soaked into material.

The saliva does not mesh with the rest of the drawing. It almost feels like a different style. This is because the lines for it are white. Since there aren't any other white lines in the artwork this draws attention to it as being different. This is not necessarily a good thing since it clashes with the rest of the artwork and creates dissonance. I would suggest trying out the outline with a black line. Experiment a little with the thickness of the line. You probably want to go with a pretty thin line. Then to make it wet saliva like just add in strategic white highlights.

The lighting does not seem to be consistent. On the front leg the light seems to be coming from the left side but on the other leg the light is definitely coming form the right.

Right now the figure is not really interacting with the background. I think it would look much better and more cohesive if it interacted with the background in some way. The easiest way to do this would be to add in a shadow on the ground underneath the figure. If you put the shadow far down, it will look like the figure is not touching the ground but it will still create a connection between the figure and the background. You can change the dynamic and how her movement is interpreted by how far down or how close to the lowest foot you place the shadow.

I hope I was able to give you some new insights and ideas.
