More Warhammer 40k or rather 30k in this case. I finally put something together for the best legion there was - the Death Guard, before their conversion to chaos. I went with a more overexagerated style of the MkIII power armor, made the shoulders even more impractical, the overall silhouette bulkier with the a helmet based on legion specfic ones from ForgeWorld.Are there any other fans of the footsloggin legion around here?

I fucking love this piece...Pre-heresy Death Guard has a very nice color scheme, and then the lighting and the coils give it a touch of color.

I like what you did with the armor, looks solid and weighty. Also the colors here. The colors make Nurgle blush. Almost makes me wonder if Nurgle always kept his eyes on the Mortarion.

Thanks,the spreading of the primarchs seemed a bit too tailored to affect their specific designes to be pure coincidence so it might be that the chaos gods have picked their servants at the moment of their creation.

True dat, the amount of times the Traitor Primarchs have the favored numbers of Chaos pop up is rather constant. Most notably with Morty and Magnus.

I think they are just still pretty well respected among their legionaries, after all both of them wen't trought quite a lot to protect their "sons" or at least ease their pain.

While I am a fan of the Plague Marine Death Guard I have never been much of a fan of them pre-Heresy for some reason.
This is a very nice piece. The design of the power fist is cool.

Thank you, for me its their firm believe in the Emperor's vision, martial prowess and foot sloggin tactics that really make them shine (I was never a big fan of Rhinos an and especially the assault bikes), plus they went on to become the servants of the best chaos god so that's another plus.

This is my husband's favorite legion. And I have to confess after listening to many of the audio books, I have developed quite a fondness for pre-Heresy Mortarion.

For me he's easly the best primarch, funnly enough despite how he ended up he was (mayby stll is) one of the most firm believers in the Emperor's ideals. Sadly the way things went he grew to despise Big E himself, wich is probably the thing that makes the traitor primarch so interesting, they are mostly just troubled and complex characters if I remember right not a single one of them willingly just straight up became a heretic.
