Finished in 2004 winter. It took two months to finish...TWO MONTHS!!
I know I'm a slow painter, but this is way too slow!! 
And the number of layers got over 200(I'm layer-making obsessed)...too much for a 1500x1250 picture.This started with someone yelling, "Gotta draw ossan!!"
(ossan is a Japanese word, meaning middle-aged or sometimes old guy, with slight comtempt) Y'know, I love cute girl pictures(and cute girls as well
), but maybe this time I would try some ossan picture, I thought...though eventually I put a winged girl together.This was done before I started so I call "special practice program", so colors are a bit monotonous, some patterns were made with filters, causing the whole picture to be slightly plane. On the other hand, the expression of flames, reflection of lights got better than I thought.
Anyway two months' effort is worth showing, I believe.
BTW Why winged? Answer:I LOVE WINGS.

The first thing that struck me was the panties. They look a bit weird. Kinda like the panties go to far down on the thigh. you should add some folds to it as well as change how it seem to lay flat on her body.
the the shoe of the girl, it seem a bit thin at the part between the ankle and toes.
and lastly, the camoflage pattern on the pants of the man. you should make them move with the folds of the cloth, not just lay flat on top of them. even if it looks alright right now then the folds would look even more realistic if the pattern follow them.

I dunno... I think the panty shot distracts from the picture as a whole. It's could've been a great picture of a young angel sleeping peacefully in a dangerous place, thanks to the faith she has in the battle-hardened soldier protecting her. There's a good story behind that. But it just comes off as "Hey, underpants!!!". I really do like your work, honest! But this is, like, the one picture in your gallery you shouldn't have had a panty shot, and the one picture that you actually put one in.

I love this. Especially the contrast between the tough man who looks like an older Silvester Stalone or Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the sweet, cute, winged girl.

200 LAYERS?! And I thought I was using too many when I've got 4... (but I guess that's just cos my computer goes reeeeaaally slowly when I use more than 4 layers, not to mention the PSD file goes over 50 MB, which it can't handle either... XD)
Anyway, the result was worth it! I wish I could shade like you!

Haha, the reason I can manage so many layers is that I don't work on high resolutions. And in reality, keeping so many layers is not necessarily "great" idea, since truly talented artists will probably do well with even only one layer. ( That means I'm not talented XD ) Well anyway thanks for the comment!
