It takes a bit careful work and knowledge. If you haven't made a hat before I recomend you check out clearkid's tutorial here [link] . You will find all sorts of good info out there.from there all you do is modify the ear flaps on the head band, create a ear pattern you're pleased with, make a quick mock up with fleece to do and tweaking and fixing, then buy yourself some fur!
I hope this helps, and don't be afraid to ask me for tips!
