Well, this was a little late coming. Considering that Season 4 is over with now. But why not?
And if you are wondering what's going on. Neltharion is using the Dragon Soul against Tirek while Twilight Sparkle helps to add the magic of the Four Princesses to it. Because that's what the Dragon Soul does, it is a device that stores energy which allows Neltharion to focus it through him. And the only time when he can produce that magic circle is when he has the Dragon Soul.
Don't worry, this version of the Dragon Soul lacks the component that the Old Gods added. So, it's not a weapon that can control the wielder anymore. It's just a giant power cell.
I pretty much just imagine that Neltharion can focus and draw upon the energy stored into the Dragon Soul and shoot it out from his mouth like a death ray, kinda like Kiryuu's indigo plasma breath of atomizing, superheated, explosive death, or basically a wave motion gun. It's Neltharion's version of the Kamehameha, but fired from his mouth.

How about commenting on my image rather than showing me yours. For one I at least drew mine and painted it myself.
All you did was take screenshots and combine them together into a death battle title screen.

Um, no, Sargeras wouldn't want to befriend Neltharion.
Nor would Neltharion would ever want to befriend Sargeras.
If Neltharion befriends Sargeras, then it would ruin the final chapter of Wrath of the Warchief where Velen talks about looking at Neltharion had given him some hope. Hope that Velen can take a third option on dealing with Kil'Jaeden.
So, it would be completely out of character of Neltharion to side with Sargeras.

You know, I'll let the four stories that I wrote explain Nel's redemption and why he still has the plates...
“Oh, look what I’ve done to myself,” Neltharion said. “Look. These horrible plates. My body. I used to be so...slender, graceful. I’m...fat! They did this to me. They mutilated my body!”
He slowly rose up, lifting a claw to his face to feel his metallic chin.
“What...happened to me?” he asked.
Romancing the Coffer Chpt 1

Neltharion growled at her and turned away again.
“I noticed you’ve healed me completely save for the back plates,” he said.
“I came here to finish up the process,” said Alexstrasza. “And you’ll be fully restored as the Neltharion I remember.”
“I’m still rather bloated though,” said Neltharion. He let loose a snort. “You know what, dear little sister? Don’t bother taking the elementium armor off my back or the blade off my tail. I much rather keep them there.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m not the Neltharion you knew 10 thousand years ago!” he growled. “I’m not him anymore. Nor do I wish to be him. I am different. 10 thousand years of being trapped inside my body, tormented by taunting voices from invisible beings with tentacles, trapped inside Azeroth by the Titans...I’ve become something different. No one helped me during those years, no one tried to see me trapped inside my mind. I was left to fend for myself, to endure the pain, the agony, and his rage...his madness. After all those years, I have become something different. Leave those plates on my back. They will be a symbol of how much I have changed since those 10 thousand years.”
He lowered his head.
“I am not the Neltharion you knew. Nor will I ever be. But you will always be the conceded bitch I remember.”

“Even Deathwing gained more respect than you!” she continued, balling her fists up again. “For all his evil, he was a competent, deadly opponent. You follow in his footsteps, but none follow yours.”
“I am not Deathwing!” Neltharion roared, tail carving deep gouges in the path. “Not Deathwing!”
“Yet that is all that they can see.”
“Then I will change what they see!”
He reached for one of the armor plates girding his shoulders, and tore at it with his talons. It surrendered with a wet shriek, lava and broken elementium fragments falling from the widening rip.
In a frenzy, he reached as far down his side as he could, muscles bunched tightly, before pulling back. Plates buckled and tore as his claws caught them. He whipped to his other side and repeated the gesture, freeing his chest and sides from their metallic confines.
“I don’t understand…” Neltharion's voice was naught but a hoarse whisper. “I thought I was done with this, this…tearing, these changes.”
Wrath of the Warchief Chpt 24
You are are looking at a redeemed Neltharion, but if you think that redemption means he is automatically healed...well...I'm sorry, but it takes time for such injuries to be healed. Even longer to heal from the emotional scarring. Most people who attempt to write a redemption story involving Neltharion skip the actual healing process, and the emotional scarring that occurs due to the fact he had been tormented for 10 thousand years or so. Because these people don't really know how to write.

The detail in this piece is astounding, and the magic circles on the dragon, Tirek and Twilight all look pretty intense. Nice to see that Twilight isn't hogging the spotlight all the time in these kinds of works, though. Dat girl don't need hubris to go along with her long list of credentials

The dragon has a name...his name is Neltharion. Earth-Warder of Azeroth from the game World of Warcraft.
He was also known as Deathwing the Destroyer.

Yeah, whoever made that didn't really understand what exactly Neltharion was protecting.
Neltharion is a bit more than "Dirt protector".
For one, he's the jailor to the Old Gods. For the other, he keeps Azeroth from looking like Venus. You know, able to be habitable so that people can live on it because for some strange reason the Titans formed a world around a highly "radioactive" area, which explains why it needs the Well of Eternity, and various of other cosmic particles and horrors that would make Azeroth not a safe place to live on.
You know, he's more like Captain Planet, caring for the ecology of the planet, not protecting a pile of mud.
If he is removed, well...Azeroth goes back to looking like Venus. That's what the Old Gods want. Venus. I guess when the continents were one, Neltharion also kept Old Kalimdor from splitting apart...because plate tectonics and such...that would split the continent in two naturally. And perhaps keeping the weather from well...becoming what the weather was like for us when our planet had a giant super continent in the center of it. You know what happened then when our giant supercontinent existed 250 million years ago? Well, 90% of the species on this planet died.
So, yeah...I think having a "Dirt Warder" is a good thing. He doesn't just guard dirt. And hell, you know what he's even capable of doing with that dirt? Just imagine a being who is connected to the planet itself, can control every aspect of that planet, the rocks, the water, the sky, the heat inside...I mean...Blizzard didn't even go to the extremes of what they could have done with Deathwing. The guy could, with pinpoint accuracy, cause a precision earthquake on an undersea trench which would then result in a massive tsunami that could wipe out most of the coastal cities along either Kalimdor or the Eastern Kingdoms. And as we've seen how tsunamis work, Neltharion, if he wanted to, could raise sea levels up so high, Orgrimmar and or Stormwind, would be completely obliterated.
So, yeah...the next time that kid...wants to talk about how all Nel's job was just watching dirt...have him come to me and we'll have a talk. Also, that kid...could have at least gotten someone who has gone through puberty to do a proper voice for Neltharion. You know, give him the deep, smooth voice he's supposed to have? Rather than having him sound like someone decided to make him into a castrato.

Chill out, dude, it's just a joke. This channel does mostly satirical videos about Warcraft lore and WoW's game concepts and such. They're not meant to be taken seriously. One of the guys actually has a lower voice, but this voice just made it even funnier in my opinion.

Yes, I know about the joke. I have watched that video. I didn't find it all that funny. Hell, I even used the whole "dirt warder" thing as an insult that Calia made to Neltharion in the latest story. Siting that the evil that attacks Azeroth doesn't attack the dirt, but the people. And that who cares about dirt?
