Description I have this old British book from like...1919 or so and it's called "Wonderful World of Animals". there's a section of it that shows photographs from WW1. while looking through the book, i saw a pciture of two german soldiers with their dogs and they all had gasmasks on. i'm facinated by WW1 and WW2 so i drew it.

Nice. This would make an interesting zombies in ww1 story.

Awesome! I have a request which makes me draw a gasmask too, so I use this as an example, otherwise I will ruin my own drawing.

haha

well, the weapons were quite interesting. and in world war one, most of the technology was useless in harsh conditions, so they ended up mounting machineguns on the backs of mules, sending pidgeons intead of raido messages, and using goldfish to see if the water was okay to drink.

yeah, they used the dogs to send massages from trench to trench. since chemical warfare was used in WW1 (like chlorine and mustard gas XP), the dogs needed gasmasks so they would have a better chance of getting the massages through. since this is a german soldier and dog, it's probly a doberman or a german shepard. or a mutt that has doberman, german shepard, and/or something else.
