This card may look silly, and you'll be correct; but despite being a silly little card, it does have some niche uses. The most obvious of which (and the main reason I made the card), was that it turns off the negative effects of your monsters, much like Skill Drain in the past was once used to turn off the downsides of Goblin Attack Force and the Malefic monsters. Something about the concept of intentionally turning off your own effects to remove their downsides just appealed to me. Anyways, while that is one niche the card has, it also can re-enable the effects it negates, and even makes the monsters be unable to lose their effects again by any means. Overall, Quiet Library is just a simple card with gimmicky applications, but sometimes these fun gimmicks can open new doors, both in casual and competitive decks.
