7. Confusion
It's been said that love alters everything.
Everything you had is likely to fade, to move, to crash, to dissappear, and you won't even notice it. It's like a drug, you only care about it, and what meant the world for you, slowly started to lose its meaning.
I have to go back to the start. To the very beginning. To that night. I want to rewind and mend everything. I want to tell myself ‘Hey, you better not smile to him, or he might take everything away, you are better off without him’. But I was, as a matter of fact, happy.
He was chasing me, I was so naïve! Nights started to get longer, days would become brighter and an amount of memories would be made within days, and I didn’t appreciate it on his fullest. If I could only come back, to one of those nights, and talk with that person I knew, If I could only find a little bit of warmth towards me nowadays, if I had held him stronger, been more quieter, moved faster.
Such a stranger he is, and now everytime I look at the calendar i feel shivers down my spine; how has he achieved so much in so little time? How couldn't I be aware of all the time that has passed, without me getting over him? Why am I so scared of the few weeks that I have left? It feels like a countdown. Twenty people might me able to take his place, I just need his conversation.
His words, his scent, his touch will linger on easily.''

I absolutely adore the textures you've used in this- the background makes me think of a dramatic book cover picture.
The expression is open, vulnerable... but I'm not entirely sure whether this is meant to be a happy piece or a wistful one. The wind-swept hair makes me think that it's in a rushed setting- almost like trying to catch up with somebody, but the expression could be upset, shocked, or simply explaining something to somebody.
It's very dreamy, especially with the fact that the lighting is so airy and smooth, and the colors mesh well. It serves well to make YOU pop out- to make you almost shock the viewer, especially with the contrast between the cool blues and the warm flesh tones.
I have to ask- did you use paint effects on this? I honestly can't tell, and either way, the effect is right in between photo and painting, which I like in an art piece. If you did, they blended very well, and if you didn't, you did a great job of capturing a pure, art-only feel for this.
Another great picture! I think this is one of my favorite self-portrait pictures!

Firstly, I'm really glad you liked the self-portait, the thing that is one of your favorite self-portaits means the world for me, because self portaiture is something I'm really trying to improve.
I think that what happened is that I over-sharpened the picture, so it looks as if it's a mixture between drawing and photography, I'll keep that in mind for future shots, in order not to over-sharpen the final picture
And actually, the picture was taken while I was having a really, really though day. I couldn't stop thinking of negative thoughts, so I decided to take a picture and try to avoid thinking, the expression that came out is a little bit frightening, I'm afraid of losing something, but I'm also shocked at the same time, thank you once again

Yeah, what I don't like about this shot is the (extreme) oversharpening -- I even took off my glasses to look at it!

I hope that things have gotten a bit better since that rough day, although your art is fantastic when you're emotional about it. (Granted, it's great when it's happy, too.)

pero lo que mas me encanta de esta foto mas alla de esa expresion tan llena de sentimiento, es ese efecto que tiene que de a ratos parece que fuera una foto y no, o sea parece qeu fuera dibujada o pintada depende como la mire y a la vez se nota bien que es una foto, pero tiene ese no se qué que le da un toque como magico X3

El problemae está en que he perfilado demasiado la foto, así que cuesta ver si es una foto o un dibujo, para próximas fotos ya sé que no tengo que perfilarlas tanto!

hey, ojo que tampoco es tan malo ese efecto que le hiciste a la foto, o sea como algo personal a mi me gusta ese efecto que le dá, parece algo como magico y para futuros trabajos tambien te puede servir, seria lindo ver un paisaje o alguna composicion que tuviera ese efecto
jaja! y bueno lo de la expresion tambien pasa a veces eso, yo antes tambien hacia eso, cuando tenia un dia malo me ponia a dibujar o sacar fotos a mis perros y cosas asi. Lastima que a veces uno no tiene el tiempo que quisiera para esas cosas
