Typically, fairies tend to act as protectors of nature, but when nature is more or less muscled out of the picture by progress and its repercussions, they find ways to adapt. They are very resourceful, and will use whatever is on hand to meet their needs. This scavenger is trawling the local junkyard for anything that might be useful.

You probably don't want to know where she got the bubble gum, though...

I tried something a little different with this one. Instead of using a light desk to trace the sketch lines onto a new sheet of paper, then inking and scanning the image, I tried tracing directly from the scan in Photoshop Elements. I would be interested to know if it is of better/poorer quality as a result, so please let me know what you think.
