Description Edit: Medusa and Mr. Snoops are from The Rescuers. I would have mentioned that in the title, but it wouldn't fit.

Here we have Medusa and Mr. Snoops (does he have a first name ) as teenagers. It's funny: every person I showed this to remarked how adorable the characters were as teens. I guess this is before the mean streak really took root, although the interest in diamonds and crocodiles was already there, as you can see

In my mind, Medusa is one of the worst of the Disney Villains. Villains like Ursula and Cruella DeVille often hog the spotlight due to their flair for the dramatic. But Ursula only preyed on a rebelliousness that Ariel already possessed, and Cruella's cruelness was directed at animals.

To me, however, there is nothing more chilling than hearing little Penny cry out, "The water's coming in! Please pull me up!" and having Medusa shout back, "Not until you get the diamond!" And she aims a shotgun blast at the girl later, when Penny and the Rescuers are trying to escape. It misses the child by inches.

Mr. Snoops puts up with an awful lot of abuse (both verbal and physical) from his... employer? Co-conspirator? Their relationship is never fully explained. While greed is obviously his motivation, he also seems very trusting of her at times. (The "how to handle children" dialogue comes to mind.)

I often wonder how their collaboration started. Why did Medusa pick Mr. Snoops to help her, and why did he agree? And what circumstances and life choices led them both to a place where they could put a minor in harm's way without feeling the slightest compunction or prick of conscience?

I guess we will never know...

I know!  He's a-dork-able   I love how flustered he gets when Medusa bullies him.  Even Penny manages to sort of intimidate him at times.  Thanks for the fave!

haha, adorkable indeed! he is my favourite disney villain sidekick ever, I still laugh myself silly whenever I watch his antics my favourite is him being all clueless then getting his hair shot of by Medusa, I die every time I too have done a bit of fan art of Snoops and Medusa, one is a parody and the other a comic.

Could you possibly do one of Percival McLeach from the sequel? He's my favorite. I'm also a shipper of McLeach/Medusa so if possible could you draw them together? They don't have to be romantically involved or anything, but I would love to see how you think those two would get along. This is great!!

Thank you for your compliment! I'm glad you like it

I really like McLeach, too! He's got a very dry sense of humor, though he's just as sinister as Medusa (who has NO sense of humor). I plan to do all the Disney villains (from the feature-length movies) as teens at some point, but I don't know if I'll pair him with Medusa or just have him solo or with his lizard, Joanna. We'll see.

I love the rescuers, and I often wondered too how these two met and got involved with each other, they could of known each other for a long time or might of just known each other for a year atleast before Medusa had kidnapped Penny.
Say I'm doing an RP group and it's a Disney Crossover set in an AU. now I love the idea of mice saveing children, but a lot of the animal character will remade as human, so that we can see how the charecters would enteract. with Yzma around though, I wouldn't count the animal element out though. ANYWAYS, I JUST thought I would ask you for your thoughts on how we could bring in MEDUSA.

Yeah, the mystery of how they met will probably never be solved...

I don't quite understand what you're asking about the RP group For one thing, I've never RP-ed, so I don't know how it works. Can you explain it to me a little more?

Well at the time I was looking for members, but you don't have to join, here's a link though [link] Disney CityRP is an RP GROUP centered around a fanfiction about a place called Disney City. The City was founded by Walt Disney.

Very, very nice! Medusa was one of my all time favorite Disney villians! My favorite, and most evil, I think, is still Malleficient.

These people are from The Rescuers. Don Bluth still worked at Disney for this classic...

Yeah, I meant to put the movie name in the title, but it wouldn't fit. I remember seeing Don Bluth's name in the credits last time we watched it. I think Bill Peet (he did a few Disney shorts, including "Lambert the Sheepish Lion," but quit to write children's books) and Richard Rich (who went on the found Nest Entertainment, which produced The Swan Princess) were in there too.

What Disney movie is this from? I think I want to watch it! These villains look very interesting and you drew them well.

Sorry, it's from The Rescuers. I was going to mention that in the title, but it wouldn't fit. Medusa is psycho (and so are her pet crocodiles), but Mr. Snoops is funny It's a pretty good movie, but a little dark if only because a lot takes place either at night or down in a hole. There's a sequel too: The Rescuers Down Under.

The Rescuers Down Under, I might add, is perhaps Disney's very best sequel. Very highly recommended.
