This is for my super-incredible buddy , who has encouraged me here on DA since I started ages ago on my old account.
It was her eighteenth brithday a couple weeks ago (she just turned same age as me!) and this is her belated birthday present!I was orginally going to draw one of her characters, but decided instead to draw her dog, who is just too sweet.

Ohh, wow. I'm absolutely stunned by this! The depth, the emotion ... the whole concept, it's so touching. I can't stop staring at it! You've captured the -EXACT- way my dog will lie to fall asleep! <3 And ... this looks so much like a photograph - the folds in his fur, the size of his paw, the little dent in his head, even how many whiskers he has! It kinda looks like he's using the moon for a pillow, which is totally awesome - he can't sleep without having his head propped up on something. XD
I ... cried at those lyrics. At the whole image, at the artist's comments ... you're amazing, and I can never thank you enough for this piece, and for plain outright being my friend.
