The Necronomicon is a fictional grimoire appearing in the stories by horror writer H. P. Lovecraft and his followers. It was first mentioned in Lovecraft's 1924 short story "The Hound",[1] written in 1922, though its purported author, the "Mad Arab" Abdul Alhazred, had been quoted a year earlier in Lovecraft's "The Nameless City". Great concept. Well photographed. The only personal issue I have is that it looks too new to be a copy of the Necronomicon, since the last printings were in the the 16th century.

I am very impressed in your usage of the folds in the leather to create the skin folds around the eyes.

He had the concept of the Necronomicon before "The Hound." The quote in "The Nameless City" is from it. "That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die."
