Yes indeed, I think it was on the grand canal(not totally sure). I took it from one of the water taxis.

Cool! I've always wanted to go. I was supposed to go to Venice once on a trip to Italy. Every few years we go, all my family lives in Sicily haha. We ended up just staying in Sicily though. Still, I really hope to go there one day.

All I can say is don't bother with maps Its one of those places that needs to be wandered aimlessly, with no plans, nothing to tote around and in the company of your best friend. I can't wait to go back, you get addicted to it and the surrounding islands
