Description This one will be placed in my kitchen!!!

Italians love their coffee and even if I'm a tea person, I can understand why coffee's so popular in Italy. There are more than 50 types of coffe, the ones I painted are only more popular, I believe.

What is your favourite type?

Hope you like it! Bacione, Italia!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made with watercolours and coffe (of course) on Canson Montval paper.

Some QUICK explanations:

Espresso - 30 ml
Doppio - 60 ml
Ristretto - 20 ml

Con Fettina d'Arancia - with a slice of orange
All'anice - flavoured with anice
Schiumato - Coffe macchiato where milk foam is added on top
Lungo - 60 ml - it's obtained by making a overxtratcted shot (more ater flows through the gounded coffe)
Doppio Lungo 120 ml
Melange - (Viena) or melange viennense, it is a shot of lungo plus steamed milk and foam.
Alla nocciola - flavoured with nuts or you add a small spoon of Nutella to a espresso shot

Imperiale: orange liquor, espresso and whipped cream
Irish Coffe - sweetened coffe, irish whiskey and whipped cream on top
Mocaccino - cappuccino, whipped cream, drinking chocolate and foam

Con ghiaccio - sweetened espresso, the ice is added before you drink it
Alla Turca: prepared with finely poedered roast coffe beans boiled in a pot with added sugar.
Miele e Cannella - Honey and Cinnamon
Sospeso - (Napoli) litteraly, a coffee "in suspense" - as sign of good fortune. When a sospeso is ordered the customer pays for 2 coffees, but only gets one. That way, when a person who is homeless or otherwise down on their luck walks into the café, the person can ask if there are any coffees held in suspense, and can have one as a courtesy of the first customer.

Sorry for this really late reply. I had lots of things going on.Well, at my school, I am supposed to create a cafe like display, and my teacher said I could use any image that I can find, as long as I get permission for copyright. Anyways, it would be awesome if you could help me by sending me a copy. Reply and I will let you know my email.
