Description
This is my friends 1959 Cadillac Miller Meteor Futura Limousine Combination Hearse. He build and finished it last year in auto class.He build this from scratch, starting from the frame, all the way to the finishing touches of the paint.

There was one of these at a wrecking yard in Grand Junction Colorado near the 5th street bridge in EXCELLENT shape. No noticable dents, original tires still held air. Only thing wrong was some broken glass and stripped interior. I wanted to bring it home so bad.

Nope, I hesitated and lost the chance. They recently had a huge auction to sell everything off, a change in city ordinance made it illegal to be there. (Has to be within a certain distance of train tracks or something). There's no way it hit a crusher, any gearhead to see a car in that kind of shape would happily haul off with it. I honestly would have restored it instead of hot rodding it, perhaps aside from the engine depending on availability.

Hearses back then were made from steel, and thats a huge problem now with the price of gas and all... they suck through gas like CRAZY!!
I hope he made it out of a lighter material!
