Static Y - Lime Green

Includes a small and a large version
Some cursors are animated
Clicked State: All white parts turn green

Q: Can you convert those to .cur-files please?
A: No. Reasons: giz183.deviantart.com/journal/…

Alright, this is my first set of cursors, so please be kind
Colors:
Ice Blue
Glacier Blue
Lime Green
Poison Green
Fire Red
Pumpkin Orange
Raspberry Red
Lemon Yellow
Chrome Grey

I didn't want to add to many details to the cursors since that requires them to be rather large so you can see the details, but I like smaller cursors...
Please give me some constructive feedback!

Comments, s, s are appreciated

Instructions:
If you don't already have it, download and install CursorFX.
The free version is enough
Download: www.stardock.com/products/curs…

Copy the cursor-files (Static Y Large.CursorFX and/or Static Y Small.CursorFX) into the folder where all the CursorFX standard themes are. Most likely, it's this folder:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes

Open CursorFX. The themes should be somewhere in the My Cursors list and are ready to use!

(I don't think there's any way this might happen, but just in case: I don't take any responsibility for any kind of damage this might do to your computer.)

Have fun!

I know no one has commented on this for 3 years but I just wanted to say it looks really good and it works pretty well except that it shows up behind the start menu in Windows 10. You probably won't update it but just though I'd say this.

Actually, they look like crap. Even the small is oversize unless you're using a 50" monitor. Forget the gigantic text select or the white fuzzy circle that follows under the cursor??? The two-frame animations aren't really that good. Good animations are 100 frames or more. Unfortunately, just because it changes color in the pressed state, that's not enough to make it good or excuse the lameness/errors of the set. Sorry. To be honest, they suck the way they are. This guy just has too many lame excuses why he can't be bothered with fixing them. The truth is, he can't. He doesn't have the ability. Just read the comment sections in each set...

Thanks, I'm glad you like how the cursors look I don't use Windows 10 (and most likely never will), so I can't really try to fix the problem and make the cursors work with Windows 10, even if I wanted to. Sorry :/

Not as lame as his excuses of why he can't make a properly sized set of cursors or even port them, for that matter. ur just too 'Boss' LOL

Please port it as Windows cursor, thank you, it looks great but some people really don't need ram and resource eating 3rd party software.

Well, this is the CursorFX subcategory, so I suppose you won't find anything else here
By the way: I just checked, CursorFX just takes 1 MB of RAM on my computer atm, and I guess you could spare that much...

Porting the stuff to windows cursors (I suppose you mean .cur files) is not that easy. I do have another program that allows me to do it, but I have no idea how to get the animations right with that one because I've never done it, and to be honest, I don't really want to learn it right now All I could offer you is to port the ones without animations, but I would still need some time to do it because I have other things I'm working on.

hmm... i see, hm well technically speaking you don't need or have to port it now but a port in future would be nice ^^ (with animations and stuff - you could also do a static version only for windows - cur file but that depends on you)

But about cursorfx well tbh I'm not to found with 3rd party software that offers me the same thing as natives since i need to pay 2x the price in terms of system resources then.

WOW! Talk about exaggeration, that the entire premise of satisfaction relies on the 'clicking effect'??? Did he just say that, I think he did. Did he just beg for a donation, he certainly did. The fact of the matter is is that he just doesn't have the skill set make a proper cursor, let alone port them for windows. In every comment section he laments the same lame duck excuses of why it can't be done: How there's no technology advanced enough to be compatible with the task of porting his cursors??? For realz! You've got to be kidding me. I'm tired of reading his false proclivities & diatribes. He fails to render the logic that some peoples' systems are older and just don't have the resources to spare, to run a cosmetic program such as cursorFX. Shame on you, giz! (LOL why would anyone title themselves 'giz')

I just checked how the porting would work. Actually, the animations would probably work without bigger problems.
But the clicking effect (color change) is impossible with that other software I have, and I guess .cur files don't support event-related effects at all. You can make animations, but those will be animated all the time, and not just when you click a mousebutton. CursorFX seems to offer a little more than what Windows can do on its own So I don't think it would make a lot of sense to port those cursors...it would take too much time to port all the color version I have (yes, if I start doing that, I wanna port them all...), and the result would not be very satisfying without the clicking effect. Please understand that I don't want to make all those efforts for you personally just because you don't want to download a free little program. Maybe you can convince me with a donation or maybe if you find some other people that want .cur's jk lol

And again, you're really exaggerating in my eyes when it comes to the use of system resources. It really is a tiny program and it does not use a lot of RAM...
