Gkantinas , I thought this was a photograph at first! Usually, I don't fave pitures of boats, but your painting... it's different.
The boat is still, but the water moves. Everything seems still after the storm. The colors are light and doesn't bother the eye.
What I find confusing when I look at the painting is how the sail blends in with the sky. It looks more like ropes (unless this was intentional).
"After the storm" has a story to it, I don't know what that story is, but I will find it, or maybe someone else with a more experienced eye will.

About the sails , yes are only the ropes that keep the sail while is up , just there is no action, just a moment of piece .
