My son-in-law bought bulbs for both us, unfortunately his started to grow and had buds but then something happened to them. I'm thinking some kind of animal.

OH the squirrels and chipmunks like to eat them well any kind of bulb
you have to put a mesh around them when planting

We were just talking about that last night. He has mesh or fencing around a lot of his plants but I guess he didn't think of that. I don't have anything around mine, I must have been lucky.
