Description OK, I'm sure out of the few people who do watch me, there has to be some fans of the Digimon franchise, so I'm just gonna pre-empt anyone who might get too excited.

You could literally count the Digimon that I know on one hand. I am not a fan in the slightest, so don't bother asking me any questions about my thoughts on it, my favourite Digimon, etc. You're just gonna get the text equivalent of a blank stare.
So why now? ...No idea... Can't just draw Pokemon all the time, I suppose.

I admit, it's weird that I have the most minimal of interest in Digimon. There's no denying that I'm a die-hard Pokemon fan and I'm certainly open to a good "Monster-training RPG" game. But there's a few things about Digimon that just put me off.

I watched the whole first series of the TV show waayyyy back in the 90's when I was around 9. But it got very, very repetitive much quicker than Pokemon did and I just dropped off when the second one started. So not a great first impression.

And I know I'm at risk of showing my ignorance here, but why are so many of the more powerful Digimon mechanical or human looking? It just gets very silly and nonsensical and it's the biggest barrier to me giving it a go.

Oh well, enough griping. In the mire of nonsense Digimon is, there are some designs I really like. Designs like Agumon, who'd make a perfectly good Pokemon, if it wasn't for the name.
In my pre-picture research, I found some early artwork for Agumon, and holy crap, he was a veiny bugger, wasn't he? Massive veins all over him. Was that supposed to be cute? It was kinda gross. They got rid of those pretty sharpish and he looks all the better for it.
I keep looking at Agumon and he reminds me of Totodile, it's probably the head shape.

I really like how this picture came out, I tried adding more lines to help define the shape of Agumon's anatomy, what do you guys think? Not really what I normally do, so I'm sure there's some mistakes.

Woah, this description went on a bit long, huh? Thanks for actually reading that. Let me finish this up with a request for you awesome description-reading people!

If any of you Digimon fans have a Digimon that you think I'd enjoy drawing, let me know about it. I'm certain there's good designs buried in there, but I wouldn't know where to begin looking.

Wow! This is amazing! I never expected a Digimon drawing from you, let me tell you. I'm not that huge on the series either, my knowledge of the characters extends only to the main few from the original show, so. That said, I'd ride or die for Patamon, but I intensely dislike that you have to evolve him into some humanoid angel dude, even if he's supposedly really powerful. If I could just take him and put him into a series I actually care about that would be perfect.

I'm honestly surprised I did it myself. I have no idea what struck me to do this. I like me some anthropomorphic reptiles, I guess.

Patamon is that one with the kinda wing ears, right? I vaguely remember that now.

You *are* the reptile guy. You need to draw more of them asap.

Yeah! That's the one!
