Description this is an old picture. but i love this guy and i felt like posting it. i found him standing on his peace pole in the middle of town. he was a sweet man, but as you can tell by the flowers and greenery in the background, this wasnt even close to christmas time... so yeah. hippie santa.

addendum- i should point out that he is known as Grandpa Woodstock. He is incredibly sweet. and I love him. I have also seen him in a blue outfit that looks just like this one. Yay! Thankyougoodnight.

I was going to say this is Grandpa Woodstock, but others beat me to saying it.

He goes to Rainbow Gatherings; I've seen him at several. He's amazing In 2005 at the Michigan gathering he helped some other hippies make me a flower wreath for my hair cause they thought I seemed a bit sad. I wasn't sad really, but I loved the wreath!!

what an awesome memory!!! yeah, he is the coolest guy. where do they have Rainbow Gatherings? that sounds neat. i lived in woodstock for like, nine months last year but i only saw him every once in a while... he's still around there tho.. just this august i passed him on the street and we exchanged peace signs ahhhh grandpa woodstock

he had a pile of stuffed animals at his feet... i think they were his though because i didnt see him giving them out to any children... hmm.... i have no idea what he was doing... (other than having his picture taken with tourists and by me).. just spreadin' the love i guess. thanks for checkin the old chap out..
