Ability: Being of Light: Her race has the ability to produce photons, or light, which they can manipulate into balls or beams to be used as a weapon. Not only that they can glow brightly to temporarily blind enemies, like looking into the sun. But this takes up a lot of energy and pulls a drain on their powers.

Personality: At first glance Koh can seem to be a pleasant graceful woman but all roses have thorns. She is cold and calculating and she knows exactly what she’s doing. She doesn’t go around blowing people up just for the sake of being ‘evil’. She’ll play nice if there is something to gain from it but as soon as the fun or usefulness is gone better hope she’s in a nice mood. Her favorite thing to do is to play mind games, like a cat toying with a mouse using her powers when she deemed necessary or bored. She knows her limits and will not engage in any conflict if she thinks she can’t come out on top. Her quick mind is her greatest weapon.

When she does fight she is extremely fast and agile preferring to keep her enemies at range to attack them with her light. If she gets into a hand to hand situation it would be a bad thing since she is not very physically strong. In that case she will try to blind the attacker to get away or heat up her body, which she doesn’t like doing since it’s a drain on her abilities. One of her most precious possessions is the purple stone, Geminite, which is nestled in her breast and it amplifies her powers . Still without it she is no push over.

History: Many billions of light-years away from the Milky Way lay a galaxy that was much like ours countless millennia ago. There was one large central sun in which the planets orbited, but it had been long since dead casting the solar system in darkness. Life all just seemed to vanish except for one where life still thrives, Neiphellia, which was still close to the darken dwarfed sun. Still at the core was a molten mantle providing it with heat and the precious magnetic field to protect it from radiation from the solar winds. Much like the bottom of the ocean, thermal vents spew noxious gas into the atmosphere. Seems like a most unlikely place for life but the primary producers of Neiphellia work on the principal of chemosynthesis rather than photosynthesis. In chemosynthesis the plants and bacteria turn inorganic chemicals into organic ones instead of using the sun making life possible.

Neiphellia is actually a beautiful glittering jewel in the empty void. Many life forms on the planet found their own ways to produce their own light and their majestic illumination glow in the blackness. One of the most beautiful creatures that inhabit the planet is a humanoid race called the Radiants. They are for a lack of a better word a being of light. Each Radiant possesses the ability to create photons, or light, in their bodies giving them a radiant appearance. They can manipulate the light inside them to create spheres or beams of pure light which can be used as artillery. They are generally a peaceful people ruled by the Ring of Seven. The Ring consists of seven of the ‘purest’ light and strongest Radiants. One of most vigorous of the Seven is a woman called Koh. Armed with beauty, a sharp mind, and a silver tongue made her a very dangerous manipulative woman. On the surface she appeared to be the perfect example of her race but underneath she silently was pulling all the strings. One of her planet’s most precious resources is a rare purple crystal, Geminite, buried deep in the earth that contains massive amount of energy that could be used as an amplified to their abilities. With great social status and power it leaves you wanting more. Koh had always felt like her light was the purest be deserved more. Through mind games and well crafted schemes slowly was sifting the balance of power to her side. It all seemed to be going according to plan until the oldest member of the Ring found her out. What accorded next would be forever known as The Fall.

A fierce battle took place between The Seven. For five days they fought leaving three of The Seven dead as well as countless civilians before they could finally apprehended her. Deeming her too dangerous they sealed her into a stone tomb casting it into the void of space. It was intended to be aimed at the little dwarf sun but fate had a different plan for her as she passed through the asteroid belt, knocking her off course. She did not know how long she drifted but her time spent sealed away gave her plenty of time to plot her next move.

After a long time aimlessly wondering the starry beyond, her pod crash landed on a distant planet. Fate smiled on her again for it was rich with natural resources inhabited with what Koh consisted quite dim witted. The race on this planet was in awe of this new comer regarding her as a fallen goddess, which Koh rather enjoyed. It was for too easy to control the mindless masses getting them to help her build a ‘monument’ to her when it reality was a spaceship. She treated them with kindness, basking in the glow of her wisdom as she taught them how to build and create technology and for a time, it was good. When her ship was completed and they failed to serve further use growing bored of the false deity rouse she decided to have a little fun before she took off. As a cruel joke she started whispers of the coming of prophets . The seed of unrest was planted as they started to argue who it would be. A deep divide split the people as civil war broke out. Feeling thoroughly pleased with her work left the crumbling civilization in search what else the universe had to offer her.

From planet to planet she hopped taking what she wanted. Not all planets she visited suffered that same faint as the first. She may be a cruel woman but didn’t go around killing people just for the sake of killing or being ‘evil’. She is smart and much preferred the minds games above everything else like a cat toying with a mouse using her powers when she deemed necessary or bored. Killing without a little mind play would too boring and easy. Depending on her mood the planet’s fates varied from wars to them not even knowing that she was even there.

Now with her “floating palace“ Koh has set her sights on Earth, seeing what it has to offer.
