Description
Saimaru, the hero of a future manga project of mine, "Years of the God-fox" which is currently sheduled to begin⦠god I don't know when. I have more ideas then time, which is a problem I truly relish.Anyway, here he is. I'm not sure I'm completely satisfied with his color scheme, and I know I shall tweak his clothes a bit. The Japanese scrip in the upper right-hand corner reads (from top to bottom right to left): "Kami kitsune no Toshi no Saimaru." and should mean something along the lines of "Saimaru from Years of the God-fox" but I'm no Japanese whiz.

Great pic, and I know what you mean about the ideas. I'm working on a story now, I already have ideas for... atleast 7 sequels to one I've already posted, and 5 originals that I just don't know when I'll get to... glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks faster than they can work.

How'd you get it to look like that? I wanna draw bubbles, but I have no clue how so any tips would be appriciated.

Well, basically I started by drawing bunch of circles with a REALLY thin Micron pen, and then just adding color in crescents on one side, to give it that "lighted" feeling.
That's the best way I can think to explain it right now.

Thankies, but I'm never sure how light to draw something, cuz I'm not sure how it'll turn out once it's scanned cuz I usually color very light

It was cool. For a while I was worried he'd come out looking like Kenshin, but now that it's all finished I don't think there's much of a resemblance.
