Description
This is the first in my series of Request an Original Character pics, and the one that started it all! This is Sophia Spora, which ~Zeke-Icarus-Zephyr requested.

Some Info:
Sophia is the Captain of the 2nd Division of Shinnigami (Death Gods) in a role-play in the Bleachverse set approx 4,000 years after the current Bleach storyline. She has two Bankais, one of which summons a dragon (not pictured). I tried to make her armor reflect the color of her dragon sword (the one in her left hand) and her coat reflect her butterknife... I mean, Buster Sword... I mean... Oh fudge it. >.<

Trivial Notes:
The hardest thing about this pic was trying to get both swords to fit in frame: they are supposed to be six to seven feet long, but I just couldn't manage it. Perhaps she is holding them at an angle?

I had a picture of official Bleach art by Kubo Tite as a reference for his style, and as I was coloring I became amazed at how accurately I was able to re-create the way he colors the Shinnigami robes... until I realized we were probably using the exact same Copic markers. Ha!

If you look closely at her Captain's Haori you will note it has the flower of the 2nd Division printed on the fringe. I wasn't sure if she had a sleeved haori or not, so I went half way — and this way you can see the pretty hem on her kimono sleeves.
