Sweet couple
and to be honest for me as long time Star Trekker totally unexpected. Needed a time to get used to that idea.

So incredibly beautiful, both the art and the moment of mutual devotion pictured. You have a lovely imagination, and skills to match! You even depicted the hair realistically - a tiny bit of frizz on the surface of Uhura's hairline.
I can imagine several romantic verbal exchanges between them in this scene. She looks devoted, and he looks like he's either going to say something very quiet and romantic, or very quiet that's humorous in that ironical logical Vulcan way. Can't come up with dialogue worthy of the picture though.

This is beautiful! I shouldn't of been shocked because I've seen TOS all the way through many, many times. But I embraced Spock and Uhura...such a beautiful couple & lovely art! Hoping the 2nd movie develops deeper into their attraction and Spock learning about love. Uhura, go get him!

This turn of events was one of my favorite parts of the new Trek! I totally adore this couple and look forward to seeing more in the new movie coming up! I always thought Spock having no love in his life was pretty sad, and so I'm glad in this reality that he has one

I wasn't surprised. Well, actually, I was surprised they kissed in the lift, but I thought they had somethin' going on because in the original series she flirts with him. Mind you, I haven't seen the whole series, so maybe she flirts with everyone...

I know I wasn't that surprised either. I would have been more surprised if it was Spock and Nurse Chapel or anyone else. Everyone tends to forget that one of the first times we see the nurse in TOS she's still in love with her missing Ex. Husband. I'd expect her to be dating if not already in love with her future husband during the point in the timeline that the 2009 movie is based off of.
There'll still be little Spock/Uhura moments in the series it mostly tappers off, side from him giving her some compliments here and there and says something about her name which is too cute to ignore. What I find sad is that Nichols (Uhura)was basically denied a true love interest until the fifth movie but, that's the only place, it wasn't even continued in the next movie. It's unfair because most of that was do to the timing of the show, 60's, the only kiss she was allowed was made to be a forced one. I think Uhura's do to get some
