I got some time to sit down and draw today. This is something a lot different than you are used to seeing from me. I haven't drawn a cartoon type drawing in a VERY long time but I thought it would be fun to try Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I really enjoyed being able to loosen up a little with this type of drawing. So here she is, my version of Ariel.11"x14" Canson Mi Tientes (Sand)

cool Brian, it's nice to see something "different" every now and then. I can see Prismacolor pencils look really good, they have a great power of "covering" haven't they?

Nice cartoon, Brian. Have you ever encountered or tried Prismacolor Art Stix? I think they are compatiable with the pencils. You can do some nice broad strokes and fill in areas quickly.They have 48 colors. I loved using them on soft cheap paper, to dream up "paintings" in the coffee shop.
