Description C'mon, you knew I was gonna draw her again. I just think she has such an interesting, expressive far...plus she's a total hottie. I'd hold her hand in public. This drawing was something different. I have been doing alot of still lifes lately and this was a nice change. I tried to create a skin texture on this drawing which I've never tried before. You can see some of the chicken pox scars on her forehead if you look close.

I just gotta say man, I'm really impressed with the hair and the skin! I think you've really outdone yourself this time and perhaps you should try using this technique more frequently!

Amazing!! Which of those pencils do you use for the hair? I found an art store that sells all those pencils and so far I've only bought 2B.

I used a 8B for the hair and then I went over it with a HB. 2B is a good all around pencil, not too dark, not too light. Thanks.

looks almost metalic. did a very nice job on the eyes and lips. amazing how you pay attention to little details such as skin textures. you're mastering this portrait drawing business!

haha, no no no, not "mastering". You wanna see a master? Check out "nimra" on deviantart. That's a master. I still have a long ways to go until I get where I would like with my drawing. It will just take patience and time. Thank you very much for the encouragement and kind words though. I do appreciate it.

You have one of the most original ways to create shadows here on DA, everything in your drawings looks so smooth and reflects light in a gorgeous way!

Another great portrait! Bravo!

Once again a nice drawing Duey. As I said on the forum the hair looks very good, much more natural and soft - and less stiff. Her eyes look so dark it gives her a scary look, but it's still amazingly done, no doubt. The nose it just perfect.

yeah, its really beautiful! It looks almost photo-like. how did you do the fly-away hairs in a lighter tone? that has always puzzled me :S

Hi, I draw the fly away hairs with a kneaded rubber eraser. They don't really look very realistic and I probably did not spend enough time on them but they make the hair look less stiff than if I had left them out. Thanks.

nice job on the chicken pox scars and the freckles...and detail work is very nice...and the hair looks great..i like how you even do fly away hairs..most people do the hair on the person perfect...and that makes it just look too.... i dont know the word for it...you make it look more natural this way...

Thank you. Yeah, my hair drawing has been improving lately because of the fly away hairs. Before, the hair looks like a helmet, stiff. Thanks for the view and comment.
