Name: Alhanalem - called 'Al' for short.
Age: Unknown, but appears to be around thirty.
Race: Chayot angel

History: Created to be a Chayot angel, who held up the throne of God, Al has always been supernaturally strong. While he was still very young, the Greek god Hephaestus took notice of his strength and offered to take him in as his apprentice in blacksmithery. From Hephaestus, Al learned all that he knows- he was taught not only how to create any kind of weapon or armor, but also how to forge elemental magic into them. After many years of training under Hephaestus, the god had taught Al as much as he cared to teach about his methods. Hephaestus dropped Al as an apprentice, telling him to put his abilities to good use- the only parting gift he received from Hephaestus was a special, almost unbreakable axe.

For a long while afterward, Al made a living a small shop, where he sold specialty weapons and mechanical devices that he created himself. When he heard of the teaching position that was open at Heaven-Hell Academy, however, he realized that the perfect way to use his talents would be to pass on his knowledge to others. After selling his store, he left to start his new life as a teacher.

Personality: Al isn't the brightest person around, but he's probably one of the friendliest. He's eager to make friends with everyone he meets (sometimes, this is a horrifying process for them). He can never take a hint when someone wants him to leave. He also has a problem with forgetting people's names and mistaking their genders.

Despite all of this, Al has an enormous soft spot for women. He's extremely polite to any women he meets, and will always help out a female in need. However, this often creates problems for him- being such a gentleman, he is strongly against fighting women, and he would never harm one unless he absolutely had to.

Abilities: Having learned from the very god of blacksmithery, Al is able to create the finest of weapons and armor. However, an even greater ability is his knowledge of how to forge elemental magic into the things he creates. With this technique, he is able to create weapons through which the wielder can channel their powers. Aside from this, he is also a fairly decent mechanic.

Weaknesses: Al is only able to use magic when channeling it through his weapons- without them, he cannot cast anything. Although he is physically powerful, in a fight his strength alone might not save him from strong magic.

Also, he's pretty easy to trick.

- Al has a terrible smoking habit, and is usually found with a cigarette in his mouth.
- Another bad habit he has is drinking; he seems to make it a habit to get drunk every night before he goes in to forge weapons at his workshop.
- Al has four wings, but almost never flies. He feels very uncomfortable when his feet aren't planted firmly on the ground, and sometimes gets vertigo when at great heights.
- Furthermore, Al is able to make his wings disappear when he wants to. He usually keeps his wings hidden.
- The axe that Hephaestus gave him is on the wall above his bed as a trophy. He never really uses it, but he thinks it makes a nice decoration.
