Simply put, everything about this image amazes me.
The idea of a dark background with a single object shown in light is always a good way to emphasize the subject. Furthermore, the way in which the light is reflected in the drops of water keeps the image interesting and sets it above other images like this.
What impresses me most about this is the darks and lights shown in this photo. The use of the dark background along with the shadows seen on the petals could give the image an eerie undertone. However, the predominant colour in this image is warm and inviting, and so the viewer is compelled to examine and appreciate each detail.
All of these elements add up to a stunning and inspiring image.
