Chilling image when we are besieged with news of life in Syria currently. No judgement however, I do not believe either the media and/or government reports. But it does affect my perception of the image nonetheless.

I used to do this sometimes, but not with burkas. Shows you that pedestrian traffic unawareness is a transcendent issue not tied to genre, culture or anything.
Also, as far as I can tell, there weren't any frenchies with cameras around whenever I found myself stranded on one feet and a half of sidewalk. Though one never can tell...
