The world around me is calm

Worry

Time passes too slow for me
I keep looking at my watch
It's cold outside
The clock strikes twelve
The train is coming soon
People pass me by
I can see my breath fogging up the air
I wrap my face with my scarf to try and keep warm
The ground is frosty
The train rolls in
I run through the crowd to find you
Pushing people
I can't wait anymore
People start heading out
I scope the mass looking for your face
Hoping
Wishing
But it is not to be
Everyone has left
You never came
Hot tears rolling down my cheeks
The first snow begins to fall
Heartbreak
Sadness
The cruel, harsh wind mocks me
Pushing me
Chilling me to the bone
I gave up
My heart shattered
Then a warm touch on my shoulder
I see you smile
Tears of joy

The warmth I feel in my heart is massive
