Thank you.  For years it was all I sketched in.  I used a blurred reference out of a book and was very glad I could make it work.

Forgot to mention the Frank Frazetta sketchbooks 1 and 2

They are worth getting  from a completist point of view  if you can see them for a reasonable price { For some reason the prices go up and  down on these books}

Book 2 is cheap right now but book one isn't.  Always wanted them but I generally have little money so I put them off.

Yes for some reason , book one  is really expensive
I bought it when it dropped suddenly to around £25 for a little while

You have really the best 3 Frazetta books  "Icon" etc the others are just  additions really

if you ever see the original Ballantine  books   cheap , theyre worth collecting 
the printing is really nice on Death Dealer etc

Finally theres a book called "Conan the phenomenon" thats  pretty cheap on Amazon
It's  got some good full page frazetta  and  a load  of other artists from the pulp art to recent versions

I was contemplating that book.  I still want the one on Doc Savage.  Kinda like the Tarzan centennial.  I am hoping.

Did you like the news that "The Rock" is playing doc Savage in a new movie
He's not really my idea of the character

No not for me either.  He has the build but his movies end up on the cheesy side of things.   To me he doesn't suit it.   Heck I would rather see Bock Lesner do it.

I'm not sure who could play the character really

But I'd rather they went the 300 /Spartacus tv series route  and got a good actor  to bulk up for the part
the Rock  just seems all wrong

Thanks I'm a huge Chris Lee fan.  His inclusion in the Ring movies was huge added bonus.
