Description Another unexceptional stamp from moi. This is just one of my philosophies toward art in general. I prefer a slow build, and to let viewers comment, fav, gift, surprise, etc. as they may. I don't beg for comments/favs/views at every turn. At most, I submit a given piece to a few groups, and then wait and see what happens. If there's feedback to be had, it'll come. Just give it time.

As with all my stamps, use as you like.

Best stamp ever, and probably a lesson that I could learn by. In the meantime

I would like to use it, if you don't mind.

^_^

It's also why I don't request/collab/commission anyone I don't think will take the time to appreciate all the little nuances of the work/subject. As well as how I draw the line between good, thought-out OCs and all these "ten cent OCs" (my own term for them) that people throw together willy-nilly, in all of five minutes, and then expect other, actually-practiced artists to bring them to life. X_X

I hear you =/
On a somewhat unrelated note, that I somehow got reminded of...is it me, or are "speedpaints" usually better looking than artists' actual time-consuming artwork? o__O;

Sometimes, the impulsive, spur-of-the-moment works turn out best because they aren't as thought out. "Safe Zone" is a recent example of mine. I had no idea for it until I saw your "New Purpose", and then it came together within a few short hours.

"Unwilling Entertainer" was a spur of the moment one for me. I am happy with it overall, if not for that darn water not cooperating..xD

And these kinds of paintings are good for practice, if nothing else. Should they turn out nice enough to share with others, that's just a bonus.

Exactly. I'm hoping today isn't a lazy day like yesterday. I have a picture of Ano, and a reference sheet for my humpback character to do, and I'm determined to get at least one of them done today!

Good to hear you've set that goal for yourself. BTW, I liked the name you picked for your humpback: Scuba.

I've resolved to finish either one outline or one coloring job per day. Just to keep things moving consistently. But tomorrow I won't have any chance of doing that, or afterward, as odds are I'll be dog tired. So, I'm trying to get at least one thing done on my to-do list now.

And I just met it! ^-^ Finished the picture of Ano. Now to decide if I wanna do the ref yet or not..it'll take more work in that I have to outline and color more than one picture of her for it, in order to show all of her markings. Thanks, by the way ^-^ I thought it was a cute name. In my little fantasy world in my head, Scuba has a newborn male calf named Tank, but I wont turn him into a character. Scuba's enough by herself =3

Good luck with that! I love seeing updates from you consistently =3

I saw that.

I still have yet to try outlining a humpback, using that step-by-step method, myself.

Aww. I know what you mean - to have an idea you want to express, but have no satisfying means of fulfilling the desire. Yet.

Thanks. Just as well, I like submitting consistently. I don't like to leave my watchers hanging; you all don't deserve that.

You're welcome ^-^ Its always a joy to see something new from you in my updates
