Love the detail, especially the folds on the clothes and the hair of both characters. it is so perfect , this critique may not be the best or what you wanted but I am still a student and still learning. you are on of my inspirations and I love all your artwork. how do you draw hands so good? sorry if this wasn't the critique you were looking for , but keep up the good work and keep inspiring artists like myself. I absolutely love this! The candles are such a wonderful addition that could so easily have been opted out? It gives a really interesting lighting situation. Besides the fact that I LOVE mermaids, I loved the sort of "nitty gritty life" that comes across in this. It's not all sea horses and water lilies out there! Mermaids have down days too especially when you get mop haired brunette smokers in the mix. Fantastic and can't wait to hopefully see other companion drawings!

Wow. I just discovered this piece, though I've been watching you for a while now... x) I love it. I don't even know these characters and I don't know the story behind them, still I can imagine one very easily. The atmosphere is very touching. I really like the way it 'breaks' the myth to see a mermaid in a bathtub, and how the candles could both express something romantic and something too weak to last... Their faces say a lot... Man, this is art.

dude you should totally add a foggy atmosphere dim some lights in the corners and make them look warmer on reflections and source , also experimenting with it and turning it to a painting with more realistic faces and textures could have an amazing result .

Creo que incluso si están involucrados en una relación que debería dejarla libre , el amor le hace un poco de eso. O tal vez puede ser devuelto al mar y puede llegar a convertirse en un tritón , como en el Splash película de la década de 1980 . Doble problema para todo alrededor . Estoy seguro de que llegar a una muy buena historia. Bien hecho.

Todavía estoy armando la historia detrás, tengo vagas ideas y todas sueltas jaja
pero más o menos, se supone que ella decidió ir a vivir con él aún sabiendo que, por su propia protección, estaría siempre escondida de los otros humanos. Sin salir, en una casa, la casa de él, lejos del mar. Y él.. bueno, es un tipo complicado. Basicamente se trata de una serie de decisiones que llevaron a los dos a estar en problemas. Se quieren, pero no son felices, los secretos y el estrés en la relación los consumen. Al final, pasan miles de cosas y él la abandona y ella queda estancada en la bañera de la casa, sin poder hacer nada, porque nadie más sabía que ella estaba ahí. No se si muere o no, jajaj algo asi
es solo la idea original que necesita muuchos cambios
