That is beautiful... and y'know what? I certainly thank you for this! ^^ Y'know why? I'm horribly and irrevocably terrified of heights (like standing on things crafted by human hands, but NOT staring into a canyon. o.o;; )

Not just usually, almost always. I can only ponder as to why the works of "great and mighty man" are no match for the works of "kind and loving Mother Nature", unless, of course, if you believe in God, in which case, this is a discussion about "weak and powerless man" against "great and omnipotent God". :3
