that one is purely photo, but a panorama made from three single shots. the technique is called "infrared photography".

i have always wanted to use Infrared Photography or Ultraviolet if there is such a thing...but the expense is too great. There is some kind of film which is about $14-15, about 7 Euro a piece

i can relate. always found analog photography frustrating. but learning something "from scatch" is always important.

sadly, no.
the grain is a byproduct of IR. very few high quality SLRs and canon G3/G5 have overcome that somewhat.
