Description
So I've finally finished my first BIG Star Wars pinup, and indeed one of the first PROPERLY finished pieces of the new year ... this one, of course, specifically portraying my OC Kuma Jamis, an Old Republic-era Jedi knight, is full, blistering action. I'm SOOOOOOO HAPPY with how well this one's turned out ... I was genuinely a little worried that, in the face of how far I seem to have progressed already in just the past few months, I might completely bugger up the end result and completely undo all my hard work ... thank God I didn't then. This looks about as good as I hoped it would - FINALLY I'm starting to produce stuff that at least comes CLOSE to what I intended in my head ...

Even so, I did still learn a few new lessons, and found a few points where it kinda kicked my arse a bit. However, there are also a few bits I'm PARTICULARLY thrilled with - the lightsaber's turned out REALLY nicely, and I did try a few new little tricks with that to make it look the best I could ... and her bioluminescent stripes, while good and subtle, look just right. And the background, which looked okay in the flat colours but could have been a BIG headache if it hadn't worked, ended up turning out EXACTLY how I planned. Right down to how her feet disappear into the misty gloom ...

Here's hoping everything else turned out this good ... or even better ...
